Steve has worked with the organisation since 2009. Before that he spent 17 years as an accountant at the global financial institution Experian Ltd.

After so many years in the corporate sector, Steve wanted to use his skill and experience to support a third sector organisation and really see the difference a charity can make. His stepfather died of Lewy Body Dementia when Steve was in his mid 20s so he saw first hand the impact that being a carer had on his Mum.  

Steve was a young carer as a child so has spent many years of his life immersed in the world of health and social care.
