Our Impact in 2024 Last year our teams supported 8,867 people in England and Wales. This figure demonstrates the huge impact of our work supporting unpaid carers and the people they care for. Our services are focused on three key areas: Community Care, Hospital Discharge, and Information and Advice. Across these areas of work, our local teams worked tirelessly to deliver the very best possible care and support to the thousands of people who rely on TuVida. Some of the other big impacts from last year include: We supported 5,020 unpaid carers We delivered 405,806 hours of care We provided care to 3,847 people Our Young Carers Notts service helped 743 young and young adult carers in Nottinghamshire and the City of Nottingham Download our 2024 Impact Dashboard Our people We cannot do what we do without exceptional people. We want our people to enjoy their work, feel valued, and know they are making adifference. We want to be an employer of choice and an organisation people feel proud to work for. 502 people worked for TuVida in 2024 48 people supported our work as volunteers 6 of these volunteers supported us as trustees for our organisation Our new strategy We also developed and launched our new strategy in 2024. Over 2,000 of our clients, staff, volunteers, partners, and friends of TuVida took the time to tell us what matters to them and how they feel about the work we do. This consultation helped us to develop a new strategy that will shape our work over the next three years. A new Vison for TuVida A key part of our new strategy is a new vision for TuVida which is that everyone we support can: Be Seen, Be Heard, and Be Provided For. This new vision will guide our entire approach to helping the thousands of people we support every year. You can read more about our new strategy here
