TuVida celebrated Carers Week, 9–15 June 2025, with a range of events and activities to raise awareness of the support available for unpaid carers.

Just some of the activities included:

• Officially launching our Carer Links Herefordshire service on Mon 9 June at the Kindle Centre in Hereford.
• Our Wirral Short Breaks for Disabled Children team were at a special Commitment to Carers Conference on Weds 11 June at the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton.
• Our Bridgend Carers Wellbeing service hosted outreach sessions through the week, with a special carers breakfast on Saturday 14 June.
• Our Vale Carers Hub team delivered carers packs to GP surgeries in the area and hosted a coffee morning for carers.
• A special weekend away for both carers and the person they care for took place last weekend in West Sussex.
• A pizza evening for young adult carers in Nottinghamshire and the City of Nottingham was put on by our Young Carers Notts service.
