Carers Rights Day 2023 Carers Rights Day is Thursday 23 November 2023. Carers Rights Day is about raising awareness of caring, helping to identify carers and signposting them to information, advice and support. Whether someone has recently become a carer, realised they have been caring for a while without support or has been caring for someone for many years, it’s important they understand their rights and are able to access the support that is available to them whenever they need it. The theme for Carers Rights Day 2023 is: your rights: today, tomorrow and in the future. We are hosting a series of events aimed at raising awareness of unpaid carers. Young Carers Notts Newark and Sherwood Youth Group Launch: 5:00-6.30pm (primary age), 7:00-8:30pm (secondary age), Thursday 23 November, Dukeries Young People's Centre, Main Rd, Boughton, Newark NG22 9JE. Pizza, fun and games! Bulwell Youth Group Launch: 5-7pm.
